Welcome to my Blog

Hello and Welcome to my Blog I am so glad you found me. Here you will find a mixture of cards made from digital sheets purchased from the Craftsuprint website, cards made from rubber stamps and other bits and pieces. I got into cardmaking a few years ago by going to a class, then I got the bug. The thing I really like about crafting is that you are constantly learning so you never get bored. Please feel free to follow my Blog and you are most welcome to leave a comment.

Butterflies and Pearls

Hi Everyone
I have been working on a few cards and thought I would share them with you over the next few days, at the moment I am replenishing my back stock of cards that I have sold recently for my friends and family so I have not posted anything for a while. This is a personal order for a regular customer of mine Jane, this is for her friend's upcoming 65th birthday. The sheet I used for this card has been designed by Karen Adair you can view more of her work here. The card used is 8"x8"in size and I started off by covering the card blank with embossed pink toning card stock you should just be able to make it out from the photo. If my memory serves me correctly it was the "Hunkydory" embossed card. I framed the main image onto silver mirri and trimmed to create a fine border the adhered. I shaped and decoupaged all the pieces then die-cut the age a few times to give the numbers a bold look. Jane was thrilled with it and that made my day.

Thank you for viewing:-)
