Welcome to my Blog

Hello and Welcome to my Blog I am so glad you found me. Here you will find a mixture of cards made from digital sheets purchased from the Craftsuprint website, cards made from rubber stamps and other bits and pieces. I got into cardmaking a few years ago by going to a class, then I got the bug. The thing I really like about crafting is that you are constantly learning so you never get bored. Please feel free to follow my Blog and you are most welcome to leave a comment.

Congratulations.

I made this card for a lovely couple I know who got married whilst away, a real surprise for everyone but special and wonderful at the same time. The main theme for products used for this card are spellbinders. I started with the "Grateful Lattice" this die is an expandable one so the idea is to cut it out as many times as you need and try to match up the design. This is my first attempt using it, so here goes(yikes!!!) I used a shaped card blank and cut out the "Grateful Lattice" Die and matched it up as best as I could and layered onto "hunkydory" shimmer card. I wrapped some ribbon around it before mounting it onto the shaped card blank.

For the hearts I used the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die D-Lites - "Vines of Passion" which is one of my favourite heart die-cuts in purple and I cut the whole shape in white and matted together. I added a greeting using the "Labels Four" and typed a greeting and inked it through the die in a toning colour to suit my theme.

I finished the card off using the locket die and lots of random gems, flowers from "Wild Orchid Crafts" and I added some glitter touches.
