Mother's Day Verse

Hello Everyone
I hope all is well with you on the first day of March here in the Uk. Well it is a cold start here in leafy Surrey but hopefully the sun will rear its head real soon. Well with Valentine's Day over we now have Mother's Day coming up Sunday 26 March here in the Uk although I understand many other Countries celebrate theirs in May. This is a card I made and you can read how it was made on the Craftsuprint website here. The sheet was designed by Jackie Edwards you can see her work here.
The verse reads "Mum, over the years I've watched the wonderful ways you've made life special for our family... the moments of love and laughter, the traditions and memories we'll carry with us throughout our lives. But most of all I've watched the way you've shown us the true meaning of love in everything you do. Happy Mother's Day

I hope you like it and I will add more cards throughout this month dedicated to amazing Mother's, bye for now :-)

Happy Birthday Joyce

Hello Everyone, I thought I would share the card I made for my sister-in-law for her 80th birthday, she is a lovely person and is always cheerful with a very uplifting voice. We are all going out for a rather long lunch and as we are all spread around different counties it will be great to catch up.

I used a digital sheet designed by Janet Briggs you can view more of her work here

This design comes as a kit and I printed all the sheets using glossy photo paper except for the pocket and the insert which I printed onto matt photo paper, then cut out all the pieces and shaped all the elements and decoupaged using pinflair glue gel. To finish I added lots of gems, glitter touches and a greeting. The name of the sheet used is Square Scallop Pocket Delicate Roses Mini Kit & Decoupage

I cut out some silver numbers three times and stuck them altogether to give the numbers a 3D effect, the dies are from the Robert Adams collection of  All Occasion Dies and finished with glitter touches and lots of gems.

As Joyce wanted cash as a present I made up an envelope by using the Tonic Studios Sweet Nothing dies such a useful set of dies ideal for gift cards. Hope you like it and please feel free to leave me a comment.
