Here you will find a mixture of cards made from digital sheets purchased from the Craftsuprint website, cards made from rubber stamps and other bits and pieces. I got into cardmaking a few years ago by going to a class, then I got the bug. The thing I really like about crafting is that you are constantly learning so you never get bored. Hi Everyone I thought I would share the card I won via a blog that I follow - called Inky Finger Zone - By Julia Watts. Julia has given me permission to post and share the card on my blog and this photo belongs to Julia. I was chuffed to win a card and it is more lovely in the flesh especially the background detail. This is the original post and if you scroll down to the bottom of this post you will see my name highlighted in red as the Friday freebie winner. Each Friday Julia gives away a card to one of her followers for leaving a nice comment and this was my prize, thank you Julia x x x

This is a card I made for a friend of mine for her birthday, it is made using all dies from the Tonic Studios range as I am a fan of their dies as they cut so well every time. This is a simple card and a quick one to make if you are short of time. The shaped card base is 7"x7" in size, dies used - Tonic Trellis square base die, The Flora Frames Topper Die Set and a Tonic sentiment topper all in Navy blue. Thank you for looking.

Hello Everyone, I thought I would share the card I made for my sister-in-law for her 80th birthday, she is a lovely person and is always cheerful with a very uplifting voice. We are all going out for a rather long lunch and as we are all spread around different counties it will be great to catch up.
I used a digital sheet designed by Janet Briggs you can view more of her work here
This design comes as a kit and I printed all the sheets using glossy photo paper except for the pocket and the insert which I printed onto matt photo paper, then cut out all the pieces and shaped all the elements and decoupaged using pinflair glue gel. To finish I added lots of gems, glitter touches and a greeting. The name of the sheet used is Square Scallop Pocket Delicate Roses Mini Kit & Decoupage
I cut out some silver numbers three times and stuck them altogether to give the numbers a 3D effect, the dies are from the Robert Adams collection of All Occasion Dies and finished with glitter touches and lots of gems.
As Joyce wanted cash as a present I made up an envelope by using the Tonic Studios Sweet Nothing dies such a useful set of dies ideal for gift cards. Hope you like it and please feel free to leave me a comment.

On 7th of May the Man in my life who was like a father to me passed away. He had been ill for a long time and he will be sorely missed. It has taken me until now to share this post about him as it is very hard to accept that he has finally gone. Although we had the funeral and I know he has passed it sounds strange but it suddenly dawned on me that I will never see him again. He has been in my life for nearly 40 years and I will always treasure the wonderful memories I have of him, he was so special and charismatic and he had many, many friends. I am not sharing his name because they are a very private family and they do not do any social media and I respect that, hence I am sharing this privately. I feel surprisingly calm and I know he is finally at peace and I feel blessed that he was part of my life. You are gone but will never be forgotten and my love for you is never ending.
Thank you for reading, until next time

Hello Everyone I have another card to share with you today it is an anniversary card I made for a special couple. I started with a 8"x8" white scalloped edged card blank and I embossed a sheet of A4/C4 centura pearl cardstock in cadbury purple card using Sue Wilson's CheckBoard Pinpoint Embossing Folder, trimmed and attached it to the card base.
Next using silver holographic thin card I used Tonic Studios Venetian Layering die-set in two sizes to add the detail to the silver card. I used the largest outside edge die to cut out a white frame so the white shows through the detail. I cut out the typed greeting in a heart shape from the Tonic Studios Heart Vine Base Affections set, then I cut out a larger heart in silver then used the detail die to create a frame and cut out the centre so the greeting can show through. I cut the heart out in cadbury purple centura card and cut out the centre and added attached it to the frame this created a base for the double layer sticky pads to raise the heart so the greeting is recessed.
You can see by this closer image that the greeting is recessed. Then I finished with a bow and gems to finish off the card. I cut the 'Love' sentiment from Tonic Studios Believe/Love frames topper die-set once in silver and once in purple then used the purple on top of the silver slightly off-set to create a shadow.
My friends really loved their card, all for now until my next post - have a great day
